Today we went for a walk and ended up on Granville St. where there was no one at the Book Warehouse so I bought a half price Dr. Seuss calendar. Ended up at Charlie’s Used Music Shoppe which, in case you’re looking, now sells clothing for men by Mexx in some pretty startling colours. And those shiny shirts boys wore in the late ’90s.
Everything at Charlie’s was 25% off. I found some Ella Fitzgerald, some Mary J. Blige and then I found:
“Full Behandling” by Vazelina Bilopphoggers.
I will scan the artwork later (and possibly put up some MP3s) but for now, all you need to know is: “It’s My Party,” “These Boots are Made for Walking,” and “The Wanderer,” covered by what sounds like a wedding band. In Swedish.
February 4th, 2005 correction: Not Swedish. Norwegian. I have been corrected and sit humbly.
Oh. And “Always Something There to Remind Me.” (Det Vil Alltid Komma En Ifra Mengshoel)
