Today has been a little harder. I found a square inch or so of cheddar hiding behind the rotting celery in the fridge. We stared at each other for a while, it daring me to sneak just a bite, but eventually I triumphed.
I had pasta for lunch. Without cheese, I could taste the olive oil and the sweetness of the red peppers. It was truly magical.
If Ann-Marie MacDonald was a type of cheese she would be Danish Blue. It is medium flavoured and strong of texture, not creamy. Ribbons of pretty blue woven into classic ivory.
