I am here at 6 :15 on a sunday morning because I just spent 6 hours answering crisis line calls and I need to de-adrenalize before sleep.
But before I do – sleep, that is – I have this to say: hug the next person you see. There are so many shattered people in the world. People who hurt so bad but don’t have two friends to rub together. I feel very lucky to belong to a catt who purrs when I come home (even if he purrs, I suspect, because it is his breakfast time) and a family with whom I will eat later today and a man who is keeping the bed warm for me right now.
Life is so much better than OK.
