The first I heard of Veet Hair Removal Mousse was a few weeks ago, when a woman I had just met said “hey you know that veet stuff? from the commercial with the girl with the foam on her legs? and she’s dancing in the shower? that stuff really works!” I hadn’t (still haven’t) seen the commercial, but I am all over dancing in the shower – but not in a drrrty Flashdance way – and I like mousse A LOT so I bought some yesterday. It is Aloe Vera flavoured because all things to do with women and body hair are Aloe Vera flavoured. I did not buy the package that had the container of mousse and a “bladeless razor.”
Yeah, bladeless. It was like an iRazor. You can file that with your “shoes that feel like being barefoot” and your “invisible everything for the Mac freak.”

– The Mac see-through stuff line is almost disturbing. Yesterday, at a store, there was a see-through desk with a see-through computer, monitor, mouse and speaker on it. I nearly walked right into it and cost myself billions of iDollars. –
I thought the point was not to shave? Am I so used to shaving that just spraying foam on my leg, waiting 8 minutes (not more than 10!) and wiping it off with Only A Sponge (included) would be too weird and confusing? I guess…maybe. I am Only A Chick. They do warn on the package with the bladeless razor “not to use a real razor.”
So I sprayed the mousse on my leg. And the catt thought it might be ice cream but he didn’t get close enough to find out. Too bad because I would like to see my catt with a goatee…or maybe some big mutton chop sideburns.
Anyway, I let it sit for 8 minutes. I wiped it off. My leg is smoother but the hairs are still there. Dumb.
Ah, the mighty blogosphere. How I preen and primp in your warm glow. How I poke about in the muck of my brain to reveal tiny gems such as this and instead of poking harder and looking for a slightly more interesting gem or two, settle for the tiny ones, dig them out with my spoon and spatter them across the all-welcoming internet for all to see.
