The Cheeseblog

Oh hello this is the new ::fleh:: blog that has been given to me with a big red velvet ribbon on it.

I stuck a sticker on the catt and he kept sleeping.

Made pizza without cheese for dinner and it is actually not only good but very good without the cheese. I think because it is homemade dough and homemade sauce and yummy toppings like olives, spicy salami, onions, red peppers, mushrooms and lots of fresh-ish dried spices like thyme, oregano, basil. Who needs cheese? (ack!!) The best part is that when you eliminate the cheese, you don’t get all cloggy & stuffed full of grease. I am practically eating the whole freaking pizza. Because I’m still hungry! Because there was no CHEESE!

NO CHEESE!

sigh.

It’s very interesting. Far more interesting than you can imagine. And now I have the fleh blog and do not have to do it all by hand anymore. Goddamnit I still have Your Body is a Wonderland in my head and you know, it’s not good. Not good at all. Outkast is better. Give me more Outkast.

OK I know this isn’t strictly about cheese, but maybe it is, sort of. Comfort Rock. I don’t read a lot of record media. Has anyone named this genre yet? (a quick search retrieves only one reference to Comfort Rock [not the place, the genre] and funnily it is about the band P.O.D. They are a Christian band. I did not know this. Read the article here. It’s mostly about aftergrunge.) I am doing laundry to the radio and it is playing ColdFuckingPlay again and now CFP and Dave M and John M have merged into my head in this annoyingly soothing melodic “it was all yellow….stay….your body is a wonderland” bullshit and it makes me want to put on some Danko Jones. Y’see, there’s the piss, and then there’s Danko. Danko takes the piss out of the piss and re-ownsers it. His new CD is called “We Sweat Blood.” Go visit Danko and don’t forget to strut your miniskirted ass because he likes it like that. Not comfortable at all. Oog.

Is Dave Matthews old enough to have a son who has his own band? The resemblance between him & John Mayer is creepy, but not in an interesting way. Dave Matthews and John Mayer are Edam and Mild Gouda, respectively. Both are smooth, creamy almost to the point of gooeyness, flavourless and indistinguishable from one another. Uck.

What would pizza taste like without cheese? Maybe it’s actually the bread part I crave. And the sauce. Bread and sauce is good without cheese. Pretend you are lactose intolerant. Eat peanut butter. Don’t tell your mother what you’re doing, whatever you do. She won’t like it.
